Up coming events and announcements


New Beach Tags are being issued this year as of May 13, please email info@candlewoodpoint.org. or call  860-350-8798 to receive your new tags. Drop off the old green tags in the community mailbox

 by the beach (104 Sherry Lane) 

Parking tags are required during all visits to the beach!   


This years Annual Beach Picnic will be held Saturday August 2nd 2025

 with a  rain date Sunday August 3rd.

All parties must be scheduled! 

Beach Party Rules

The beach area is a meeting place for the community and hosting a party there is a privilege residents can have by making a reservation. 


To keep the public area available to residents, the following rules apply :


  • The party is restricted to one tier of the beach.
  • Parking for the party is restricted to 5 day passes and the host’s 2 passes.


To request use of the beach for a party, please provide the following information :


  • Resident’s name, address, and phone number.
  • Date and time you wish to reserve the area.
  • The number of guests invited.
  • The kinds of activities that are planned. 


Responsibility of CPHTD:


  • Post a reserve sign on the area to be used for the party.
  • Provide garbage cans and bags for party clean up.
  • Provide up to 5 temporary parking passes for guests of the party.


Responsibility of the Resident Host:


  • Clean up the area and take garbage bags to the garbage bins.
  • Supervise guests in the swimming area.


The board reserves the right to approve or reject.
